Thousands of people spend their last days in a hospital bed, with no visitors before they die. The Anne Robson Trust helps hospitals set up teams of volunteer visitors who bring comfort to people at the end of their life – prioritising patients who receive no other visitors. Volunteers read to the patients, talk with them, or quietly hold their hand.
