About Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bikes
Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bikes is a Charity run entirely by Volunteers to support the Patients of our NHS, transporting urgent blood samples, medication, medical equipment and medical notes in a prompt and efficient manner, ensuring a faster diagnosis and treatment.
We operate a fleet of 15 motorcycles and 9 cars over on a 24/7, 365 days a year basis.
We receive no Government funding and work independently from the NHS but comply with all the regulations regarding the transportation of product.
All funding is achieved through public support and local donations to keep the wheels turning.
