About Friends of Sussex Hospices
Established in 1995, Friends of Sussex Hospices raises funds to support the running costs of the thirteen hospice care providers serving the adults and children of Sussex. To do this, our 200 wonderful volunteers have built a reputation for running well organised, successful events.
Because FSH has no paid staff, none of the money raised goes on salaries. This maximises the amount we are able to give to our hospices to enable them to deliver the highest quality of care and dignity at a time when it is needed most.
Hospices only receive a small percentage of their funding from government. The remainder they have to raise to continue their valuable work.
