About Kent MS Therapy Centre
The Kent MS Therapy Centre is an independent charity based in Canterbury which aims to improve the quality of life of people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and other long term health conditions. We provide a range of non-invasive therapies, classes, exercise, specialist clinics and information sessions. Our activities help people to alleviate symptoms, manage their condition, improve and sustain their physical and mental health and wellbeing. The Centre has an oxygen therapy tank, a hydrotherapy pool, a gym with bespoke equipment for those with a limited range of mobility, a physiotherapy room as well as numerous treatment rooms for complementary therapies. All therapies are provided in a friendly environment that encourages mutual support for our members' families, friends and those who care for them. There are an estimated 3500 people living with MS in Kent and Medway and an average of 15 people are diagnosed with the condition every month.
