About NICE - Centre for Movement Disorders
NICE is a specialist Centre for Movement Disorders, a unique charity in Birmingham. We support every year over 200 families with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy in children, and Parkinson's in adults.
A lack, loss or difficulty with movement affects every aspect of daily life. We find that people with disabilities frequently spend much of their time being assessed for what they can't do, rather than the potential they have. But NICE is different; we take a 'can do' approach.
NICE is a small regional charity, making every donation and gesture of support count. We must raise £40,000 per month to keep our services going.
