About RSPCA Stourbridge and District Branch
Like every other RSPCA branch in England and Wales, the Stourbridge and District Branch is a separately registered branch of the RSPCA and we are primarily responsible for raising funds locally. This means that most of the money we spend on rescue cats, dogs and other small animals within the Stourbridge area, must be raised by us in the Stourbridge area.
The Branch is run by a committee of trustees who oversee the branch activities. There are no paid members of staff within the branch; everyone works on a voluntary basis.
Because we do not have an animal rescue centre at Stourbridge, all of our cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs are in foster care. We rely 100% on our volunteer fosterers to look after our animals until they get a new home.
All our fundraising work is done by a group of volunteers in their spare time.
