About The Bus Shelter Dorset
The Bus Shelter Dorset, established in Weymouth in 2016, initially converted a double-decker bus into sleeping accommodation for rough sleepers and those at risk of rough sleeping.
Now, we offer 12 self-contained units, along with communal facilities such as a kitchen, lounge, and laundry for both male and female guests to provide a safe and supported home off the streets.
Since January 2018, we’ve supported over 100 individuals, offering 24 hour tailored, unconditional support for our guests.
