About The Hypermobility Syndromes Association
The HMSA provides support and information to those affected by hypermobility syndromes and their whole support network - friends, family, employers and health and social care professionals. Promoting knowledge and understanding, and empowering individuals to live well with their condition. The severity of the effects of HMS varies with the individual: some have few symptoms others are severely affected by symptoms which can include pain, fatigue, and joints that easily injure. Problems with the skin, autonomic system, digestive system, and other internal organs can also be present. The HMSA is perfectly placed to support people as they learn to live well with these complex and potentially disabling conditions.
