Wright-Way Rescue Wright-Way Rescue is a No Kill animal shelter on a mission to save pets in the rural Midwest, South, and Southeast by giving them a chance to find loving forever homes in the Chicagoland area.
What began as the desparate rescue of one puppy that was scheduled for euthanasia at a rural animal control facility, hiding it in a college dorm room, and then figuring out how to find it a real home has grown into a multifaceted organization. Today, Wright-Way rescue works with over a hundred rescue partners throughout Rural America, and in 2019 we saved the lives of 5,106 dogs, cats, kittens, and puppies.
Our main Adoption Center is located in Morton Grove, Illinois along with a community vet clinic. Our satellite adoption center is at Lambs Farm in Libertyville, IL. We are headquartered in Southern Illinois where we operate an Admissions and Medical Campus, a Critical Care Center, a small Adoption Center, and a second Community Vet Clinic.
We have been a registered 501(c)3 organization since 2004.
