Care of Police Survivors COPS is a peer support charity. We help families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives in connection with their duty, known as survivors, to support other survivors in practical ways. We arrange local and national events that enable survivors to build friendships and bonds that support them through the good times and bad.
We also pay for bereavement counselling services for our survivors via our partners RedArc and Winston's Wish, for times when it can all get too much, and offer respite at the charity's house in Weston Super Mare.
All of our services are provided free of charge and for as long as they are needed.
