Glossop and District Volunteer Bureau Glossop and District Volunteer Bureau is Glossop’s only community wellbeing charity, and we have been supporting our community by meeting identified needs since 1979. Our overarching aim is to make life better for people in Glossopdale, and we achieve this with the support of 27 staff members and 300 dedicated volunteers. We operate across the Glossopdale district and undertake a range of activities to achieve our aims, including social prescribing, peer support activities, and practical support and advice.
