McKamey Animal Center MAC is a 30,000 sq. ft., open door shelter. In 2019 we served more than 7,000 animals; caring for those facing cruelty and neglect in addition to some of the most ill and injured.
As a community partner, MAC offers adoption services, trap neuter return for community cats, wildlife rehab, hurricane relief to impacted areas, emergency boarding for pets of victims of domestic violence, and humane educational services.
We work to stop animal cruelties such as animal fighting, puppy mills, pet hoarding, and neglect. We do this for not just dogs and cats but all domestic pets.
MAC cares for thousands of animals each year and offers assistance for low income pet owners, spay/neuter assistance, and other life saving programs.
