PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide PAPYRUS is the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide.
Suicide is the single biggest killer of young people in the UK today. According to the Office of National Statistics, in this country in 2018 over 1800 young people took their own lives, which equates to over 5 people every single day.
Today we support, equip and influence people and their communities in suicide prevention through our helpline HOPELINEUK, through our portfolio of training and awareness-raising, and our campaign work to influence local and national policy and remove the stigma that continues to remain around suicide.
