READ College / Access to the Arts Access to The Arts ™ is a national outreach and funding programme, run by READ College (a registered charity).
Founded in 2008 by Performing Arts professionals Helen & Jamie Read, our mission is to support under-represented and disadvantaged young people to get into the theatre industry as a profession. All too often people don’t see themselves reflected on stage and on screen, don’t know how to access training for a professional career, or simply cannot afford to train. That’s where Access to The Arts ™ comes in.
