Sepsis Research FEAT Sepsis Research FEAT is the UK's sepsis research and awareness charity. Around 50,000 people in the UK die every year from sepsis. Sepsis is an indiscriminate, deadly illness that can kill a healthy person in a matter of hours. Not enough is known about the biological processes that cause sepsis so research is key to gaining answers and identifying treatments. We fund vital GenOMICC sepsis research at the University of Edinburgh's Roslin Institute. Our mission is to save lives and improve outcomes for sepsis patients through world-leading research, and awareness-raising.
